Description

Close Enough: New Perspectives from Women Photographers of Magnum is an exclusive box set of 11 prints from the major exhibition at the International Center of Photography in 2022. Featuring the work of 11 Magnum photographers, this collection, curated by Charlotte Cotton, creates a chorus of inspirational narratives about the practice of photography.

From Alessandra Sanguinetti’s 23-year project, The Adventures of Guille and Belinda to Carolyn Drake’s Knit Club, the eleven images represent pivotal projects that portray a wide range of people and places from across the globe. Each bears witness to the extraordinary relationships that can be built between photographer and subject.

Featured Photographers: Olivia Arthur, Myriam Boulos, Sabiha Çimen, Bieke Depoorter, Cristina de Middel, Carolyn Drake, Nanna Heitmann, Susan Meiselas, Lúa Ribeira, Alessandra Sanguinetti, and Newsha Tavakolian.
