Susan Meiselas: Through a Woman’s Lens presents never-before-shown photographs alongside iconic series that reflect the artist’s ongoing commitment to sharing the stories of women. A member of Magnum Photos since 1976, Meiselas creates photographs that raise provocative questions about the documentary practice and the relationship between photographer and subject.

Susan Meiselas: Through a Woman’s Lens, is installed in the Herzfeld Center for Photography and Media Arts. While the Museum is closed to the public due to COVID-19 restrictions, this exhibition is made available virtually, with a 360-degree gallery tour which is available to view here.

Through this rich, interactive tour, you will be able to explore, at your leisure, the exhibition. The tour exclusively provides you with the opportunity to hear from Susan Meiselas and the people she photographed; examine additional publications and ephemera; and watch historical films and interviews that provide added context and deepen and enrich the experience.
